Righteousness and Possessions
Jesus commanded us not to store up treasure on earth, but how do you enjoy God’s gifts in this world without having your treasure on earth? What is the Christian attitude toward money and possessions, and how do you know when they have become your treasure? In this section of the Sermon on the Mount our Lord teaches us the right attitude toward possessions, and gives us the most comforting instruction about how to overcome worry anywhere in the Bible.
