What is a Church
What does the Lord Jesus Christ look for in a church? When you come to church on Sunday morning, what is it exactly that God expects of you? When Agape Bible Church was born in February of 2007, our very first priority was to devote ourselves to discovering from God's Word exactly what a church is supposed to be, God's highest priorities for His Church; so we could develop all of our structure, schedule, ministry priorities, spending priorities, Sunday worship: everything after the pattern of God's desire, rather than human tradition. The result was this study of the five major metaphors Scripture gives to describe the Church: a Body, a Bride, God's household, The Temple of the Holy Spirit and a holy priesthood.
